  1. What did you want to be when you grew up?

    Growing up I always wanted to be a doctor; I grew up around hospitals/clinical settings. However, due to a traumatic event in childhood, being a doctor become the last thing on my mind.

  2. What do you want most in the future? 

    Self-contentment and continuing to be my most authentic self.

     

    Continue to explore the world – eating, drinking and exploring diverse cultures.

     

    Continue to build generational wealth.

  3. What’s been your biggest achievement to date? 

    My greatest achievement to date is knowing that I have brought up a wonderful human being in my son.

     

    But I know the best is yet to come both personally and professionally.

  4. What’s your advice to other women/girls? 

    Be your authentic self.

    Always remember that you are unique.

    Never dim your light for anyone.

    Ignore the voices inside that tells you that you're not qualified for this, or not good enough for that, and go for it! Live the life you want to live, not the life you think that you are expected to live.

  5. What does it mean being a black woman in your industry?

    It means being overlooked at times but always show up.

  6. What school did you go to?  

    McEntee Secondary School (the school is now an academy called Walthamstow Academy). Fun fact about McEntee school: a few members of the E17 band attended the school.

  7. What is the most important thing in the world to you? 

    My husband and son (they are my world).
