  1. What did you want to be when you grew up?

It changed over time but I think a lawyer was something I seriously considered at some point as it seemed an attractive career option to me.

  2. What do you want most in the future?

I am big on ensuring potential is tapped and not trapped, so for me, it is ensuring I keep growing and pouring out all that has been placed in me.

  3. What’s been your biggest achievement to date?

Getting to the point of balancing a thriving career and still doing the things I love away from my day to day work.

  4. What’s your advice to other women/girls?

Do not limit, box or tag yourself based on your current circumstances or other people’s opinions. Always see the bigger picture and play to your strengths. Also avoid comparing your life to other peoples, we are all on different journey’s.

  5. What does it mean being a black woman in your industry?

Personally, I see it as an opportunity. The landscape of diversity has changed and is changing so much in the corporate world that we should see it as an opportunity to showcase our uniqueness as well.

  6. What school did you go to?

I started my 6th form in the UK and attended Steyning Grammar School in West Sussex.

  7. What is the most important thing in the world to you?

I would say my Christian faith and being able to let it percolate in every part of my life.
