  1. What did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was younger, I aspired to be a doctor….until I found out (the hard way) that I faint at the sight of excess blood.

  2. What do you want most in the future?

The thing I most want in the future, is to be happy. Time is so precious – the most invaluable currency. To maximise my use of it I want to spend every moment creating beautiful & happy memories with the ones I love. I want to ensure everything I do is meaningful.

  3. What’s been your biggest achievement to date?

My biggest achievement to date is no longer weighing my own life on the scales of other people’s success and appreciating my own journey.

  4. What’s your advice to other women/girls?

    1. Never set limits on your own dreams – you really can do it all.

    2. Self-care is a must! Do no neglect yourself. Sleep well. Eat well. Drink water.

    3. Imposter syndrome – thinking that you are undeserving of the successes and gratitude which are consequences of your hard work. Know that you are deserving and know that you are worthy!

    4. Listen to advice but understand that your journey is unique and beautiful. What might work for someone else, may not necessarily work for you. Remember that no one else is you, you have the opportunity to do great things but the path must be chosen by you, advice is the guardrails for the path you ultimately decide.

  5. What does it mean being a black woman in your industry?

To be a black woman in the industries I work (Property and Entertainment industry), means that I have to be conscious of the standards I am setting as I am automatically representative of my gender and race. My work ethic demands respect, my personality demands returned kindness. Our diverse culture allows us to have dynamic and versatile perspective on ideas. Sometimes it’s a challenge to gain access to opportunities but it’s mainly a beautiful expedition.

  6. What school did you go to?

I went to Edmonton County School in north London.

  7. What is the most important thing in the world to you?

The most important thing in the world to me are my family. They are the most precious and irreplaceable beings in my life and the greatest gift I possess.
